Division Commissioner - Helen Randall
"Hello, I'm Helen and I am Division Commissioner for Valley along with Jan Stowell. I have been in Girlguiding as a leader for 30+ years and have, in my time, been involved with every Section. I have been District, Division and Assistant County Commissioner. Currently alongside my commissioner roles I am a Rainbow and Brownie Leader."
Valley Division covers Thatcham, Pangbourne and surrounding areas, Cold Ash, Bucklebury, Hermitage, Compton.
Thatcham is under Kennet Vale District where there are:
5 Rainbows, 6 Brownies, 4 Guide units.
Ridgeway District which includes units in Cold Ash,
Hermitage, Compton and Bucklebury
Cold Ash - 1 Rainbow, 2 Brownie, 1 Guide, 1 Ranger units.
Hermitage - 1 Rainbow, 1 Brownie units.
Compton - 1 Rainbow, 1 Brownie and 1 Guide units.
Bucklebury - 1 Guide and 1 Ranger units.
Pang Valley District whose units are in Pangbourne, Basildon, Bradfield and Theale where there are:
2 Rainbow, 3 Brownies, 1 Guide and 1 Ranger units.
We are also very luck to have Girlguiding Royal Berkshire's residential property and camp site, Thirtover Place, in our Division.
