Want to do an international trip for the first time? Contact the County International Adviser who will take you through the steps required to get this under way.
International RENS & Risk Assessments
All paperwork for an international trip must be signed off by the Chief Commissioner once it has been checked by the Region lead volunteer international. Local commissioners should not be signing off any international paperwork on GO.
All paperwork should be sent to the County International Adviser who will go through the process with you and check that the paperwork is all correct. Once they are happy with all the documents, it can then be sent to the lead volunteer international to be reviewed and actioned on GO by the chief commissioner.
Remember your permission to plan needs to be submitted at least 12 months before your planned trip.
INTOPS Selection
Adult INTOPS Selection
Each year SWE Region hold an adults selection event to find adults suitable to lead the Region international trips. More details on the event will be available on the Region website and in the Region Newsletter.
Girl INTOPS Selection
Each Spring the County holds an event for older Guides and Rangers who want to be considered for a Region international trip. From this event girls are chosen to attend the Region selection weekend. More details on the County event will be posted on the Events page and information will be sent to unit leaders.
