Step 1
Register your daughter via Girlguiding UK
Register your interest in joining the Girlguiding community via the national Girlguiding website. Just click the button below and follow the steps in order to register with us.
Step 2
Choose which local unit to join
Once you've registered we will use your details to suggest several local units you could join. It's up to you to select the most convenient one for you! You can choose up to three location preferences.
Step 3
Your local unit will get in touch
Someone from your chosen unit will contact you, usually within three weeks. They can explain to you about meetings times, what's planned for the term and if there's a waiting list.
Step 4
Come along for a trial session!
If spaces are available, the unit will arrange a trial meeting for your daughter to attend. This gives you and her an idea of what guiding is all about - we're sure you will love it!

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization, and without their commitment and passion, we wouldn't be able to provide the amazing opportunities we do. At Girlguiding Berkshire, our volunteers make a real difference, supporting girls to grow, learn, and thrive in a fun and safe environment.
Whether you can spare a few hours every so often or commit to a regular weekly role, there are many ways to get involved and help us empower girls across Berkshire. If you're 18 or older and looking to have fun, make new friends, and develop a wide range of skills, volunteering with Girlguiding Berkshire could be the perfect opportunity for you! Join us and be part of the largest organization for girls and young women in the UK.
