Outdoor Activities day at Thirtover

Outdoor Activities - Express an interest

Venue: hirtover Place, Ashmore Green Road, Cold Ash RG18 9JD

Time: Registration 09.45 or 12:45

1       Outdoor Activities 101 (Full Day Session 10:00-15:00)

Are you anxious about taking your girls out of the meeting place? Unsure of the rules and regulations? This session will cover all these topics and give you more confidence to venture out and provide a full and dynamic programme. The day will also include map reading/orienteering skills, fire lighting and outdoor cooking for lunch (which will be provided).

Half Day Sessions (10:00-12:00 or 13:00-15:00)

2        Low Ropes & Nightline- so you can take your girls on the Thirtover courses.

3        Archery – come along and have a go

4        Camping Skills – learn how to put up a tent both traditional and modern

5        Fire lighting and Backwoods Cooking – learn the skill of fire lighting and do some cooking
