Our county President, Jane, organised a coffee morning at Thirtover Place on the 25th February with over 50 Leaders and Trefoil members attending raising £340 for the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts’ World Thinking Day Fund. The World Thinking Day Fund provides vital support to WAGGGS global work.
This year’s World Thinking Day theme is Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The activity pack - Living Threads, produced by WAGGGS, has been designed to inspire you to reflect on how you can put equity and inclusion into practice, and celebrate the diversity in your communities and beyond.
Your donations to the World Thinking Day Fund help provide inclusive and diverse opportunities for even more girls and young women worldwide. You are also helping support the growth and development of WAGGGS’ 150 existing Member Organisations through tailored activities and training to support and enable the development of their unique needs and requirements.
