‘All the World’s a Stage’
is a South West England girl event for all sections. It will have a performing arts theme. The day will be an exciting mix of dance, drama, music and theatre workshops as well as craft activities.
There will be activities appropriate for girls of all ages (5-17 years) and units will be able to choose workshops at time of booking.
Why not use the event to inspire the girls to start on the Region’s resource ‘A Night in the Theatre?’
On this occasion there is no charge for leaders as they will be a non-participant. The role of the leader is to supervise and support the girls during the workshops and around the college. Please ensure that the correct adult:girl ratios are in place.
Units are responsible for organising their own transport. You can arrive by car, minibus or coach. Cars can either drop off or stay on site for the day. The nearest train station is Bracknell which is a 10 minute walk away.
Leaders & girls will need to bring a packed lunch including drinks. A café, run by the college, will be available at the venue, selling hot and cold drinks and snacks.
What to wear
Guide wear and suitable footwear to be worn. All activities will take place inside the building.
The Region shop will be on site selling South West England merchandise and resources including the Night at the Theatre resource.
Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. There is a maximum of 1000 girl places available.
A deposit of £5 per person will be required with the booking form and final payment will be due by no later than 20th December 2019.
No applications will be accepted after 20th December 2019, irrespective of numbers, to give adequate time to allocate places on workshops.
